In
1984 we purchased a small lawn mowing run
with a customer base of 50 clients. This
included a small trailer, mower and brush
cutter. From this customer base we were
able to build up this run through advertising,
referrals and most of all our quality of
workmanship. Within a 2 year period it was
necessary to employ staff, some of whom
are still with us today. We also started
commercial property maintenance, this leading
to successfully quoting for government tenders
and private contracts.
Our business expanded
to such a large domestic and commercial
mowing operation that we could see the potential
in franchising. After carefully considering
our options we decided to sell domestic
and commercial franchises starting in the
Brisbane area.
The basis of our
business has always been to provide lawn
and garden care services of a high standard
and yet be affordable to our customer. This
simple, ethical premise underpins the operational
system passed on to our franchisees along
with the industry knowledge we have gained
in our many years in business.
